The Blood Opera Suite

Postby Richard » Wed Sep 03, 2008 3:02 pm

The music page is up on the site now. It features a flash player playing all... all 17 tracks of the Blood Opera Suite, plus... plus 3 Blood Opera Suite bonus tracks! Give them a listen.

If you encounter any problems with the flash player, or any of the songs not playing, please let me know here. First, though, make sure you have the most recent flash player installed on your computer.

Now go enjoy John's music!

I love this music. I've been listening to it in my car when I drive around town.

I was wondering, is the must meant to be non-downloadable?
I don't know how to download it without resorting to third party software. Was this intentional?
Or is there a link I'm not seeing.

I am about to run a HotB demo later at a mini convention and while I have a bunch of tracks ready, I was hoping to let them hear the official OST.
Sadly, there ain't any wifi in the gaming area.

No need to rush making it available. Just wondering if it was meant to be listen only
or if its not bad to use a third party thing to download them for game use.

Thanks!

EDIT:
Oh poop. NOW I see the Download this song option if you right click! Argh!
Sorry to not see that earlier. Cheerio!

SECOND EDIT:
Still poop.
Download option not working for me. Clicking it leads nowhere.
Wah.

Weird. Hrm, let me see if we can get a straight download set up for the entire thing. It's already sitting on the website so I don't think it'll be an issue to link directly to the files on the D/L page. Let me go fire off an email to our webmistress.

i believe its a blocked download because the whole thing is available for sale in mp3 format for 5 bucks (or 9 bundled with the rulebook pdf) on the website that sells the pdf.

I suspected as much. I didn't see that link I admit.
But I thought the music might be sold somewhere.

Glad to know the status quo before I tried anything that might have been wrong.

note, i said I BELIEVE, i could be wrong.

but, its always nice to toss money at the creator directly (sometimes directly, a hail of quarters does good to keep them in their place. uhh i mean... uh....) so, you can purchase the mp3's at this link

While I like IPR and use them when necessary, you can cut out the middle man and give the cash to John without a cut being taken:
