[Scottish Indie Gamers] Episode Zero: WTF?

Postby Keith Fyans » Sun Oct 10, 2010 6:54 pm

Hi there folks,

Myself and some friends are in the process of putting together a "magazine show" styled video podcast. We have put together a very short test reel mainly to experiment with the editing software and distribution channels. While the episode itself is a bit ropey it has given us a whole heap of useful insights for Episode One.

Any feedback and ideas would be appreciated, and feel free to post elsewhere and feed back from other sources. Also, if you are in the UK and would like to take part, either on or off screen, then please contact us!

Cheers for watching and I'll pop up a post once Episode 1 goes live!

Keith.

I intellectually knew you were Scottish, saw all the pictures chat with you online and on the forums here, and then I watch the video. ^_^ And your accents are excellent, and surprisingly I can understand you quite easily. :) My last experience with a Glasgowian was the photographer at my sister's wedding and not even the Scots from Edinburgh could understand her. ^_^

But it looks great! :) Good intro, and good job with the changing of the camera shots -- it kept me watching.

Cheers! The full episodes will be a mash-up of Gamers, Waynes World and The Fast Show (at least that is what we are aspiring to!). The test reel has helped us pin down a lot of the tech bugs before they are a real problem.

Oh, Twitter users can now follow us, and we have a fb group :)
