That could be a separate thread, certainly! But, the favorite House riff seems to be a matter of what sorts of qualities and philosophies each house holds dear.

Bear House, baby. I get an awesome Stark vibe from them.

I want to play a young bear with an ancestral Bloodsword, protecting the North from the Orks and Hyperboreans at the edge of civilization. And a pet Raven, of course ;)

I voted Veiled, for I still hold out that Spider may be among them and a spinner of webs and lies is always good fun. Still, it may prove that the Ven have NEVER known patience. Such being the case, I would be a Wolf. If you can't stab your enemies in the back, make yourself very good at stabbing them in the front.

Bear and Falcon are the two that instantly give me concepts for actiual characters to play, however I've came up with some interesting NPC-types for all the houses... I'll get them posted at some point soon ;)

Oh, and I voted Falcon because everything for a character from the Falcon fleshed out in my head the second I read sections of the book (the personalityand countanance dovetailing with what colours to wear, physical features, the lot).

While playing with John as the Narrator, I had more fun interacting with the Bear more then any other house.... they are just fun to be around.

I kind of like it...with some work, they could really polish it up a bit....
