John is doing a partonage project for a Big Mecha RPG. While mecha games wouldn't normally be my thing I'd highly advise checking out the design videos - they got me to pledge!

Part 1: Introduction

Part 2: World Design

Pledge to make the game happen here!

Huzzah! And indeed, huzzah.

My tabletop group's resident mecha fanboy dropped the ball in getting on board with supporting this. Lucky for him, I didn't. (Although credit where 'tis due, he's quite eager to try Blood and Honor sometime soonish, even though I had to convert it to a Sith-style game to convince him that it might be fun.)

the deadline has been extended until Sept 15th. so if your friend still wants to get into the patronage... this is his last chance!

Hi all,

I was reading Aegis project again lately - I'm considering running it if I'll have a moment of free time - and there are a couple o things I cannot find in the book.

The text says that normal human dies after getting a lvl 5 wound (Aegis soldier/pilot with lvl 6) but it never says what happens before that.
What mechanical effects wounds have on characters? Can a character have let’s say seven lvl 4 wounds and still be perfectly fine?

And a similar question regarding Aegis armor. When does it get destroyed?
There are rules for damaging it (page 70) but how much damage is too much? There is only one text about Aegis exploding due to the battery damage but that's it. Or is damaging a battery an only way to destroy the Armor?

Also Apollo and Hades operative armor (page 41).
Text says "To score an Injury after a hit against an Apollo Soldier, the shooter must roll an 8,
9 or 10."
and
"Hades Ops are given a sleek prototype body armor meant for speed rather than
protection. Any successful hit requires the shooter roll a 6-10 to cause Injury."
What exactly does it mean?
A shooter must roll X means that after a hit one must roll another dice or the bang used must be with that score?
I'd say the first option is correct cause there are no bangs with a value 7 and 9.

So here are my questions.
I would be very happy if any you knew the answers.

I forwarded the question on to John, hopefully he'll respond asap, of course, it's GenCon week so it'll probably be a bit as we're all slammed.

I'm bumping up the question.
It's been 5 months with no answer... Not cool.

I'm not certain about the armor questions, but in regards to health in all the other systems he's written the lower level wounds count as Tags that may be activated by opponents to gain more dice.
