The Valediction of Solace

Postby Keith Fyans » Sun Mar 01, 2009 6:01 am

True Things about the Valediction of Solace:

  • It will be hosted by a Count of Tir Torigh
  • It will be first Althua of Spring
  • It is a Débutante Ball

OOC: Everyone knows this party is happening come spring. If you can make it to the game (in person or vid-link), or want to send an NPC or some-such, then let me know. All other facts will be determined at the game.

*Bump* The main event is the presentations themselves, however the Party itself is a grand ritual/game:

The gift you bring can be passed to the Host or a Debutante of your choice. The rank of the gift should be matched to the person you intend to give it to (yes, as there will be young as-yet-unblooded there you can bring a ift that is Rank 0 or has no physical form, but you better have something up your sleave to make it impressive).

Of course the gift itself, it's relative rank to the person you give it to, how it is presented and who you give it to all will have connotations relating to how you view the Party, its host and its guests; how Atendees and the Host will view you; etc, etc..
