Adding Players to a Cabal

Postby Keith Fyans » Sun Mar 01, 2009 5:18 pm

Hiya,

If you pick up new players for a LS game do they need to be in a Blood Contract? If so does it need to be with the PC's? Or can they generate other Players NPC's or play independent others?

I just wonder as I've picked up two new peeps from the boards (Kristi and Dallas) and wanted to check how we should go about this. My instinct says that anything should go, but always nice to check in these sorta campaigns.

:)

Yeah, to be part of a cabal, a blood contract is involved. Sort of a built in way for each cluster of players to have a support structure in the wide, wide world of Shanri. Which isn't to say that you can't have more than 5 players in your game. You can have two cabals of 3 players each (or whatever your comfortable maximum is) at the same gaming session.

Plus, I believe John is whomping up rules for bold nobles as it would pertain to Living Shanri.

OK, to get this streight in my head... I could have a game with 15 people as long as they were all split in cabals of 5 or less?
