About the Capital and the Senate

Postby Keith Fyans » Tue Mar 17, 2009 12:27 am

OK, I understand some of these are yet to be determined and so will be up to players wagers at any given time, but so I don't tread on any established truths...

- How long does it take to travel to the capital?

- Do both partners in a marriage keep their seats in the Senate, or only one partner?

- Are there any Truths about the capital/senate that I should be aware of?

Q'naldinir - Capital City
(a double meaning: “Golden Center under the Sky” and “Hub of All Revenge”)

We didn't establish much until tonight's game:

I'll post any Truths established about places that are not Tir Torigh in the IC thread. I take it that the central isle can be traveled to in less than a season, or has this yeat to be determined?

EDIT: Also, with the trial happening at the Senate - is there any way to get involved? I'll happily play over web-conference...

I think we could do a chat session where the senate is presented with evidence from both sides and arguments are made. A big Living Shanri web event type thing. :)

Oh I'd Love that - of course, I'd love to see Ramus Tal brought in chains before the Senate.....

Well, I need to plan the event with Skaldsaga (arguments from both sides) so we'll spend a bit of time planning that this friday.

It should be a 'Winter' event so later this month might be fine.
I'm thinking a tuesday of thursday, with a preference for a Thursday night, 7:30-8pm Arizona time (which is Pacific, atm I believe).

Will Ramus Tal be caught and brought to the capital any time this 'Winter'? Or better yet, will he come claim a Barony under his own name this Winter? (Arisaph Steele may support him, if the incentives are good enough...)

You guys, according to the interweb, are 8h behind on Mountain Time(?), so to get on-line I would need to take a day off work... I'd also check if any other LS peeps over here would be up for this, but most work/school.

The more notice on this one the better I guess :)

Arisaph Steele will be going to the Senate to make his new title official. Nothing more to add at this time...

Quick question. Isn't the capital referenced as Davfanna Aldrena in the main book?

Perhaps this is the Old Capital (before the Betrayer Curse)?
