The Veiled Houses

Postby Bazzalisk » Sun Jul 04, 2010 3:24 am

I'm familiar with the six unveiled houses at the time of the height of Ven Opera, but I was wondering if any researchers have found any details about the four veiled houses? I assume from the material I have read that the veiled houses were those of the Cat, the Spider, the Horse, and the Bee/Wasp, but what were their virtues?

I have heard there is Boar's Fortitude and Spider's Patience. The others I have no idea.

It is Boar's Fortitude...

Boar's Fortitude as he shows you yet another roll of family vacation pictures....

They were veiled for boring the third King of Shanri to death. ;)

Don't you mean the fortitude to endure another Serpent's explanation of a law (and its origins) while the Elk argue its values in the Shan'ri of Now? ;)

And the Wolf shares with you his extensive collection of swords..., "And here is my room of Saxs, right next to the Spathas. Next we'll see the Spadroons and the Schiavona. After that the halls of small swords and Saingeom."

While the Fox pesters you with whether you're going to wear the matching blue stockings or if you're going to wear that tasty green and gold brocade long coat he saw your taking off at Lady Peacock's last party.

Now that I think of it, I think the Boar veiled themselves!

No, just hints from different posts or things John has told people at Cons. He has a definite list, and Spider, Rat and Boar are pretty sure to be on there, but no one knows for sure.
