The Mad Daimyo takes an early lead!

I have yet to play (or run!) B&H, but I love the idea of the Mad Daimyo ever changing and screwing with the player's plans.

Mad - it has to be. The situation is begging for tragedy, the house playing for and against his every whim!

Speaking as the member of his tabletop group most likely to end up GMing, it must be the raving loony, the utter madman, the crazy boss: keeps the players on their toeses, y'see.

As a player, I'd go for the Kind Daimyo. Always nice to work for someone you can trust not to stab you in the back because he got out of the futon on the wrong side today.

I vote for the cruel daimyo . The tension that this character creates is great. you dare to question they orders? even if this orders even if these orders involve an unjustified sacrifice? i prefer the hard choices, decisions that make characters think in consequencies. cruel daimyo allows me to put character in a path of hard choices. I´m Cruel? :?

Mad Daimyo is the most fun from B&H. Oda Nobunaga is my favorite from Sengoku Jidai, followed incredibly closely by a tie of Uesugi Kenshin and Date Masamune.

Oda Nobunaga is a perenial favorite of mine, also Date Masamune for his craziness. But I too love them all for different reasons. :)
