Not with my work schedule, but early Spring I am hoping. Also getting the ineffable wisdom of Mark Truman to help me with the kickstarter.

Well, by now all the backers probably have their electronic copies, and it ROCKS! There are a number of elements that weren't in the playtest document, or at least not in the version that my ashigaru conscript infantry had to brave, but they're all net positives. Now I shall have to find the time and energy to try this for real.

There are even (gasp!) ideas that could be reverse-engineered for Houses...(I've suffered too many GMs and players who whine about how they expect the GM to impose their own vision onto the game instead of relying on the Players to actually use wagers and stuff, and the likes of the Story Pool is a perfect way to do that).

One question, though. I now see that we roll over into the next season at a total of 20 age points instead of 60...which makes that really high extra age point roll in the char-gen chapter Bad News for anyone starting in Winter. Was this supposed to stay at 60?

It is at 20 on purpose. At 60 it takes forever to age up. Twenty actually presents the real possibility of doing so. :) And yeah, starting at Winter vs. aging up to it means shorter time playing that character. It's a trade-off, another difficult decision.

True. I may apply this back to B&H, given a chance to actually run it one again of these years.
