Beta Testing for World of Dew

Postby wunderworks » Thu Sep 12, 2013 4:16 pm

He actually finished writing this thing? Majide!

Well almost, just some basic stuff to fill in. But the rules are written, the Giri detailed, the Aspects aspected, and all the important bits are down. If you are interested in running a Beta playtest of World of Dew reply here or message me (your choice).

I'm not going to choose everyone who asks, but to make the choice easier tell me a few things:

1. Who you are.
2. Your gaming experience and history.
3. Who the people you will be running this game for.
4. When you'll be able to run the game and when you'll get your notes back to me.

You'll need to keep detailed notes to share with me if you Beta Test this game. I will need them back asap after you run your game. If you wait too long any great ideas or advice might not be able to be incorporated into this book.

Thanks!

Ooo! Ooo! (raises paw) I might just twist a few arms in my tabletop group to get something like this done! And if not my regular group, I might be able to find a couple of willing victims for a one-shot...

I am sworn to secrecy on the matter, but suffice to say that this is truly a worthy variant.

The Kickstarter is either going to be this month or January. That won't change the actual production time, but I'm working on figuring out what the optimal timing will be. I'll most likely (knock on wood) be able to release the final PDF (barring acts of god) as soon as the Kickstarter ends. The actual print products will come later.

So due to tax reasons (I'd get hosed) I'm going to run the Kickstarter in January. I'll keep everyone posted as things come up.

Indeed, my seneschal is on hand with the customary pile of koku for this very project, whensoever it shall launch.

All Gameplay Editing is DONE. I finished it tonight.

I'm writing a 2K word Setting for my buddy who Kickstarted Call of Cathulhu this week (due the 25th), and then I'll finish writing/creating the Kickstarter Page and as soon as KS approves it it will go live!

So probably end of this month beginning of February. It'll start on a Tuesday and end on a Sunday near the end of February. :)

I'll be sending the Edit Ready File to my Editor tomorrow morning first thing. My Art DIrector is compiling art and as soon as that is all done my Layout Lady will layout the book for Print!

And YES, we WILL BE Offering Print Copies of Blood and Honor, and a TON of other Cool STUFF (custom dice, Go Pieces for Honor and Ninjo Points, Custom Engraved Go Pieces, Custom Hapi Coats, Original art from numerous artists, etc.)

:D

Let me know if you have any questions.

/Oh yes, International Shipping will be an option for backing.
