I am the road, falcon blessing

Postby alexanderthesoso » Tue Sep 14, 2010 11:23 am

gahh, John's going to hate me.

The blessing states
You may
not perform the action in any noble’s lands
but your own, regardless of title or contacts
or any other factors. Your lands alone

what about an npc vassal thats blooded, has devotion, and is your master of the road. Its your lands, not his. can he use this blessing on your lands, that he watches over?

I don't have my book with me. What does the Blessing do exactly?

The Falcon know the people, they know
the Road. While other Houses bicker and
squabble over territory, only the Falcon
truly know its Name. Only the Falcon
know its secrets.
During Season actions, you may spend a
Style Point to Quell Trouble in a number of
Regions equal to your Courage. You may
not perform the action in any noble’s lands
but your own, regardless of title or contacts
or any other factors. Your lands alone.

I think it's pretty explicit that you can't have your NPC Vassal Master of the Roads do it in your land...
I guess you should ask yourself if it's worth giving him land to govern within your Domain... Make him a Baron when you become a Count. Even then, he can only do it within his Barony.

Okay, I figured as much, but since its lands he directly overseas the security of, it would almost make sense to allow it, so I was curious.

I agree, it would make sense to allow it, but the text is so explicit about it that it simply is not possible. The Suaven won't allow it! :)
