Question about Spending Wagers in Mass Murder

Postby forvrin » Mon Oct 13, 2008 12:16 pm

Here's a question:

The amount of wagers you can spend in Mass Murder is limited by the number of Wagers you take but also by the number of people in your side; that is, each die represents a single ven dealing a single Rank 5 injury on another target. When Vassal bands take injury, it reduces their rank. Do they spend dice as their rank or their numbers?

For example, a rank of personal guard equals 10 ven in your guard, but it is a Rank 1 Vassal. When spending wagers, do you spend 1 wager and that vassal is done with its action, or do you get up to a hypothetical 10 wagers?

For Band Vassals, a spent wager in Mass Murder uses the entire vassal group. A rank 1 Personal Guard is a smaller band of people than a rank 3 guard, but they still only act once per wager.

And, nevermind! Looks like they don't get to play unless they're taking the hits.

You must nominate a person on your side to spend the wager. If you don't have anyone to spend the wager, you can't spend the wager. May as well bank it for Style.
