In need of a cabal

Postby Jesse Heinig » Fri Feb 20, 2009 4:58 am

So . . . I am not sure if I'll find a local cabal for Living Shanri. (Lots of my friends like the game, but scheduling a game out here requires coordination on the level of something that NASA would due because of competing schedules.) Takers? Keep in mind that having "the only honest ven in Shanri" in your cabal can be a liability . . .

Our cabal has one spot left in it. Haven't gotten our stuff up yet, but we're currently swinging a Falcon, Elk, Fox and my unblooded Master of the Road minion.

Hey Jess,

I'm thinking about having something along the lines of Dark Places: a way for single players to interact with the game. There's a precedent for it in the world: Bold Barons.

John,
do you have any ideas about solo players w/o a cabal that would like to play Living Shanri casually? I can't commit to a weekly game in addition to my other house game I play in. But I can occasionally get a night out and would love to game it up with various cabals here in phoenix. I was going to accompany Luther to this evening's party game.

thanks

That could work nicely. Varwyn is certainly somewhat bold - at least in his disdain for some of the rules of decorum!

Yeah, I'll write up a bit about "Bold Barons" so individual players can still participate online and show up to games.

It's gonna be dangerous!
